God’s Promises

Hey New Life,

As this will be my final weekly devo, I want to just share some promises that I have clung to in both the brightest and darkest seasons of my life. Hope they become your foundation in every season.

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. -Deuteronomy 31:8

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. -Philippians 1:6

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. -Romans 8:38-39

God is faithful. And He will be faithful till the end. His love for you is not dependent on your perfect obedience. It is based solely on the perfect obedience of Christ through His life and death. 

Our debt has been paid. The curtain has been torn in two. Death has been defeated. You are His, and He will never let you go.

That is my hope for New Life as I leave. No matter what comes your way, God will continually draw you to Himself. And in that, I rejoice.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace, now and forevermore. Amen.
