After the Feeding of the 5000, we see Jesus sending the disciples away and going to the mountain to pray. He sees his disciples amidst a storm, and He walks on water to them, which is a terrifying sight to the disciples. Peter asks to walk on water and starts to sink after seeing the wind. Jesus saves him, rebukes him for his doubt, and calms the storm. We find ourselves in this story with our doubt and fears, along with Jesus’ rescue through the cross.
