In chapter 8, Solomon talks about submission. Wisdom submits to the authorities over us, namely the government. Wisdom submits to our limitations in knowledge and ability. Wisdom submits to death, knowing our days are numbered. Wisdom submits to God, who sent His Son who first submitted to the Father for our salvation
