REFLECTIVE QUESTIONS

1.) Read Isaiah 53:6, and also Mark 6:34. Why does the Bible compare people with sheep? What does this tell you about human nature?

2.) Mark 6:34 says that Jesus had compassion on the crowd. What is compassion, and how does it inform your view of God and others?

3.) Mark 6:34 says that Jesus, out of his compassion, began to teach the crowd. Why is instruction the prominent need for humans? How have you labored to make God's truth a part of your life?

4.) In the miracle of Jesus feeding the 5000, why did Jesus first tell the disciples to feed the crowd? What does this teach you about God's provision for His people?
