PASTOR

Pastor Evan grew up in Aurora, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado Denver where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. After a stint in research and education, he sensed his call to ministry and pursued a Master of Divinity from Denver Seminary. He graduated in 2013, the year he also became ordained in the PCA, received his first ministry call in Kansas City, and most importantly married his beautiful bride Sena.

After serving a church in Kansas City for 9 years (in which he also acquired two rambunctious sons and one mischievous dog) he returned to Colorado and taught science and theology at a Christian school. In 2025 he was blessed to accept a call to serve as New Life’s pastor. Outside of spending time with his family and his church family, he enjoys teaching, hiking, sports, playing the guitar, and perusing any material that highlights the truth, beauty and goodness of God.
